Support the System, Manufacturing and Mechanical engineering teams throughout the full product development life-cycle, supporting PCB outline, component placement and routing process.\nFollow technical data exchange with suppliers and support manufacturing during board assembly and test. Participate to other HW Engineering activities involving requirements definition, electrical design, verification and testing.\nKey Responsibilities & Tasks:\n\nIntegrate electronic subsystems into the overall spacecraft design, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless functionality.\nBe responsible for the design of electronic boards from requirements to schematic definition, procedure management and test coordination.\nBe responsible of coordination with other departments to evaluate and assess implications of other systems/subsystems on avionics.\nLead PCB outline, layer setup, component placement and signal routing requirements for Power, Digital and Mixed-Signals applications.\nLead interface with PCB services suppliers.\nKeep up with and know industry and space standards and technologies.\nWork with Hardware Engineers and the manufacturing team for the development and sustaining of current products.\nMaintain detailed documentation of system designs, specifications, and test results to comply with company standards and regulatory requirements.\nIdentify and select appropriate electronic components for new space applications, considering factors such as radiation tolerance, power efficiency, and durability for use in space environments.\n\nRequirements:\n\n\nMSc degree in Electronics or equivalent practical experience\n\n\nWork experience of at least 5 years in Electronic design(with at least 2 of which in the space/avionics industries).\n\n\nExperience with Altium designer tool.\n\n\nExperience with Spice simulation tool.\n\n\nExperienced with state-of-the-art PCB design tools and methodology.\n\n\nProficient with high-speed, mixed-signal and power conversion design.\n\n\nProficient in using electronic lab instruments (oscilloscope, multimeter, spectrum analyzer, power supply, electronic load, etc.)\n\n\nKnowledge of common electronic interfaces like CAN, SPI, I2C, RS-422, RS-485, Space-Wire, and MIL-1553.\n\n\nProficient with common ECSS standard electronic analyses like PSA, WCA and FMEA/FMECA.\n\n\nA self-starter and highly motivated with strong organizational skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills;\n\n\nProactive attitude and ability to work in team and individually;\n\n\nKnowledge of ECSS standard EMC and Sys design,\n\n\nKnowledge of Space Power and Avionic Unit architecture,\n\n\nKnowledge of FPGA, microcontroller and SoC architecture is a plus.\n\n\nKnowledge of RF systems is a plus.\n\n\nWorking proficiency in English is required.\n\n\nDeep knowledge of AI tools.\n\n\nHiring Process:\nHere’s how our hiring process works—simple and straightforward:\n\nApplication review: We go through all applications, but we'll only reach out to candidates who closely match what we're looking for.\nIf you don’t hear from us, it means we’re not moving forward with your application at this time, but we may consider you profile for more aligned opening in the future!\nFirst chat: Selected candidates will have an initial meeting with the people team so we can get to know each other and talk through mutual expectations, motivation for change and goals.\nTechnical interviews: Next, you’ll have one or two technical interviews, focused on your skills and how you approach challenges relevant to the role.\nOffer: If all goes well, we’ll send you an offer!
