About the role We are looking for a new team member to join our Purchasing Department In Bologna with a focus on Battery Machine Projects. Main responsibilities can include: - Analyze internal purchasing needs and manage requests; - Research and select suppliers; - Request and evaluate commercial offers; - Negotiate prices and purchasing conditions; - Issue purchase orders and monitor deliveries; - Verify documentation and support the supplier accounting process; - Collaborate with warehouse and quality teams for material inspections; - Maintain supplier relationships and evaluate performance. What you need to be successful - Diploma or Degree (preferably in a technical field as Civil, Mechanical, Automation or Automotive Engineering); - Between 5 and 7 years of previous experience in purchasing, focusing on mechanical components; - Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems; - Proficiency in English, both written and oral; - Strong organizational and negotiation skills, results-oriented and teamwork capabilities; - Willingness to travel upon request (10% of the time).
