Responsibilities
1. Execute field validation and verification tests forGNSS receiversField controllersSoftware applications and services
2. Configure and operate equipment as an end user would, includingReceiver setup (base/rover configurations)Software-driven device configuration and workflows
3. Test communication interfaces and connectivity scenarios:Controller ↔ receiver: Serial Port, USB, Bluetooth, Bluetooth LE, Wi-FiReceiver ↔ receiver: Bluetooth Long Link, Radio Modem, Cellular ModemReceiver ↔ correction services: NTRIP, L-Band, etc.
4. Work with integrated positioning systems:GNSS + IMU (inertial systems)GNSS + optical systems (Total Stations)
5. Validate real-world user scenarios across complex hardware/software setups
6. Reproduce issues reported by users and dealers
7. Perform root cause analysis, identifying whether issues originate from:Hardware Firmware Software Services Communication layers
Education & Experience
8. Bachelor’s or higher degree in GNSS Engineering, Surveing, Geodesy or a related field
9. Good understanding of GNSS principles
10. Intermediate level of English language (sufficient for reading technical documentation and verbal communicating in an international team)
11. Experience in testing or validation activities
12. Knowledge of bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA)
13. Knowledge of test management tools (e.g., TestRail)
14. Background in surveying, geomatics, or positioning systems
Working Conditions:
This role is primarily field-oriented, requiring hands-on interaction with equipment in an outdoor test environment near the office.
