Job Description Summary
The GCAP Engine Delivery & Assembly Processes Industrial Leader will join the GCAP Industrial Management team that coordinates the industrial activities of the new strategic military program, for which the Industrial Management team is the Supply Chain primary interface.
You will provide technical and management leadership during the Program launch and the execution of the development phases.
In this role you will define development plans for critical Program enablers throughout the Supply Chain, coordinating all the Product Centers and the involved functions within Supply Chain (Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Sourcing, Facilities …) and other relevant functions and being the Supply Chain primary interface reporting to the GCAP Supply Chain Leader.
You will be also responsible for readiness of the delivery management process towards assembly line of the Product.
The goals of this role will mainly consist in matching the program milestones in terms of readiness and execution, evaluating and managing related risks, supporting Cost control.
In this role you will be based in the Brindisi site and coordinate with the GCAP Engine Industrial Leader.
Travelling to other Avio Aero sites, to supplier's and abroad is expected to cover specific program needs.
Working in classified environment is expected to cover specific program rules.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
* Responsible for the Delivery Management Process for the Engine Platform for Avio Aero as well as for partner Companies
* Responsible for the Assembly Processes readiness for the different Engine Maturation vehicles (IDEM/DEMO/Product)
* Create and execute integrated plans according to the Program Target and the Program Integrated Master Schedule in terms of Technological and operational requirements (delivery milestones, industrialization and readiness targets), Process enablers, Security compliance, Economics/financial and contractual targets
* Provide Technical leadership to the cross-functional teams during the execution
* Proactively identify, detect, prevent and manage risks that may have impacts on success, timing and compliance of the program
* Define, update and monitor capital investment economics
* Responsible for the approval process for the necessary investment plan
* Responsible for Program Control Board preparation for his/her area of competence
* Responsible for reporting-out to Avio Aero Leadership team
* Supports the Commercial Team for his/her area of competence
* Support Program Management Team on Program MOR preparation
* Monitor the program progress (reporting relevant KPIs, costs) at the operating rhythm (WOR, QMI, Cash Flow, …)
* Support Commercial and Program Leaders for customer reviews as needed
Qualifications/Requirements
* Master's degree in Engineering
* Technical competence on products and processes, obtained in Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Production Engineering Previous experience
* Previous experience in multi-year development projects/programs
* Proven ability to guide and lead others in a matrix and challenging environment
* Prior program/project management experience
* Italian and Fluent English language, oral and written
* Work Visa, according to local regulation, is required
