Direct message the job poster from Teleflex Manage and supervise tender participation on behalf of the company, insuring a correct presentation of documents required from Public costumers, accurate understanding of tender contracts and quotations as required, managing a workforce, in alignment with strategy and guidelines provided by superior and Commercial Operations Director and/or Manager. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES : Monitor new tenders through daily analysis of tenders selected by external companies or published on government portals in order to understand their requirements and specifications and identify those of interest to the company. Manage and optimise the entire tendering process ensuring efficiency, regulatory compliance and quality from processing to award, monitoring volumes Work with sales representatives to review/produce reports, ensuring that tenders are processed accurately and in a timely manner, resolving any issues. Manage all aspects of tender bids and quotations for customers. Manage the data processing part for site and price changes. Analysing the results of contracts (won/lost) and calculating the market share in cooperation with Marketing. Support Marketing and Sales in monitoring the pricing policy and strategy for tenders. Ensure the correct development and follow-up of the ‘contracts’ software and IT tools essential for the smooth running of the department. Training staff (new and existing) to improve skills and understanding Resolving critical issues or problems related to tenders by interfacing with the relevant lawyers. Provide daily direction and communication to staff so that all tenders are processed within the necessary timeframe to ensure efficient and competent work. Monitor and suggest improvements in processes and procedures. Provide regular feedback and coaching to each team member. Write and manage performance reviews to improve competencies, linking performance to merit enhancement and ensuring employees have the appropriate training and resources to do their jobs. Resolve any issues regarding employee relations and maintain a high quality work environment to motivate employees to perform at their highest level. Manage discipline and/or performance issues according to company policy. Support the Manager in day-to-day operations, including development, analysis and implementation of staffing programmes, training, planning and recognition. Work as a member or leader of special or ongoing projects that are important for area/process improvement. Establishing work procedures that support the company standards and strategic directives of the department. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS : Degree in law, economics or related disciplines or diploma with relevant experience. At least 5 years of experience in a similar position (Resp. Uff. Tenders and Contracts) preferably in the biomedical sector. Thorough knowledge of Legislative Decree 36/2023 (Public Contracts Code) and of the main e-procurement platforms (e.g. SINTEL, MEPA). Excellent knowledge of the English language (written and spoken). Experience in managing administrative, economic and technical documentation to participate in public tenders as well as in issuing quotations to Private Customers. Skill in analyzing tender notices and adapting tenders to regulations. Knowledge of sector regulations and ability to manage compliance with laws and regulations. Ability to negotiate with public authorities Experience in optimizing internal tender management processes, including digitization and KPI monitoring. Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects. Analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills. Thorough knowledge of international medical device regulations (e.g. MDR, ISO 13485, GDPR). SPECIALIZED SKILLS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS : Regulatory knowledge: In-depth knowledge of public procurement regulations. Administrative skills: Documentary and administrative management skills. Team Management Time management: Ability to manage deadlines and priorities in the context of activities carried out very often in emergency situations. Computer skills: Experience in the use of management software and tools to participate in electronic tenders. Communication: Ability to write clear documents and to interact with various internal and external stakeholders.
