Our defence systems range from early warning to threat neutralisation, covering all levels of the battlespace, including Airspace Mobility Solutions, Vehicles, Tactical Systems, Missile Defence, Optronics, and Radar. Gorgonzola hosts the Navigations Air Systems (NAS) domain, specializing in avionics navigation and radar systems for civil air traffic, supporting civilian and military pilots, ATC controllers, and technicians worldwide. Italy serves as the group's competence center for Navigation Aids products and non-Radar Surveillance Products. The PCM (Part Configuration Manager) will define material lists for specific projects and customers, supporting the sale and system support of current Thales products fulfilling bids and contracts. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The PCM at Thales will: Become an expert in Navigation Air Systems (NAS), understanding technical compatibilities among Thales products. Develop a thorough understanding of materialization linked to specific sites. Support Project Engineers and Bids Managers in bid preparation before contract signing. Assist Project Managers and the Project Management Office in project list preparation post-contract signature. Gain proficiency in the Company Product Data Management system (PDM), including ECR processes. Develop skills in the ERP system related to logistics, procurement, stock management, and deliveries. Serve as the main reference for Customer Bill Of Material (BOM) aspects, supporting Project Engineers and interfacing with customers and suppliers. SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS Fluent in Italian (preferable), with good command of English (B1-B2 level). Basic knowledge of Thales IT ecosystem (PDM & ERP) and processes. Understanding of technical drawings. Problem-solving mindset. Team-oriented with responsible work ethic. Nice-to-have qualifications: Engineering degree (preferably Mechanical). Experience with CAD for minor drawing modifications. Background in IT/data management or analytics. Over three years of industrial experience. Proficiency in another language (preferably French).
