Italy is the Group’s Competence Centre for the design, production and delivery of Navigation Aids products, and for the delivery of non‑Radar Surveillance Products. /p pAs a Project Manager at Thales you will be accountable for customer projects in the domain of Airspace Mobility Solutions (NAVAIDS and Non‑Radar Surveillance). You will manage sales costs, cash flow and project quality, ensuring that customer satisfaction is achieved. /p h3Tasks and responsibilities /h3 ul liEnsuring all necessary planning, execution and acceptance activities throughout the delivery of the project. /li liRepresenting Thales interests within the assigned area of responsibility. /li liAnalyzing contract content and implementing delivery and service packages. /li liCreating and updating project baselines, cost and time schedules. /li liConducting negotiations with local subcontractors regarding project‑related subcontracting and construction work in cooperation with the purchasing department. /li liManaging customer requests and contract changes to closure. /li liManaging external suppliers. /li liCreating and maintaining project documentation using Thales internal process instructions and tools. /li liDefining and managing all elements required to successfully deliver the project (incl. design maintenance, training, spare parts supply and documentation). /li liExecuting lessons learned from the project delivery and providing corresponding feedback to the departments. /li liParticipating in offers, creating schedules, cost and risk assessments. /li /ul h3Education and Experience /h3 ul liEngineering degree or equivalent qualification. /li liCertification IPMA or PMI project manager (or comparable). /li liMinimum of 5 years of professional experience in project management in an international business environment. /li liProven experience in stress management is essential. /li liProficient in using planning tools (MS Project and Excel). /li liGood knowledge of business administration, contract management and supplier management. /li liDriving Change Order Management and upselling in running projects in close cooperation with the Legal Contracts and Sales community. /li liAbility to monitor project performances through relevant indicators (financial and schedule efficiency). /li liGood knowledge of financial data and business plan. /li liAbility to manage international customers in multi‑supplier environments. /li liProven experience in different industry schemas (JV Consortium, ATI, RTI, Co/ Subcontracting). /li liVery good language skills in English and French spoken and written. /li liKnowledge of Italian language is a must. /li /ul pAt Thales we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.
