Join our Software Engineering team, as IT/OT Cybersecurity Specialist, and help secure critical infrastructure in complex and evolving industrial environments.
We’re looking for a hands-on professional ready to design secure architectures, manage vulnerabilities, and respond to real-world threats across plant systems and networks.
Tasks and Duties:
* Provide technical support across Project Execution, Development, R&D, and Commissioning teams
* Design and implement secure OT architectures ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability
* Prepare technical documentation (cybersecurity specs, HW architecture diagrams)
* Conduct risk assessments and define security improvement guidelines
* Manage patching and system updates across plant IT/OT devices
* Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in OT environments
* Implement and maintain secure backup processes
* Strengthen network security (firewalls, segmentation, VPNs, IDS/IPS)
* Monitor systems and detect threats, intrusions, and anomalies
* Manage access control and user permissions for critical systems
* Develop and execute OT incident response plans
* Investigate and resolve security incidents in a timely manner
* Perform audits on OT infrastructure and support remediation activities
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure system lifecycle management
* Work closely with IT security teams for an integrated cybersecurity approach
* 5+ years of experience in IT/OT cybersecurity or similar roles
* Background in IT/OT cybersecurity, ideally within critical infrastructure environments
* Knowledge of OT protocols (Modbus, DNP3, OPC) and industrial communication systems
* Experience with security tools such as firewalls, IDS, and antivirus solutions
* Understanding of vulnerability management, patching, and risk assessment processes
* Technical education (IT, Cybersecurity, or similar); degree is a plus
* Fluent in both English and Italian

* Experience in programming (Python, C, C++, or C#)
* Exposure to industrial environments and plant systems
* Hands-on experience with incident response in OT contexts
