Italy serves as the Group’s competence center for designing, producing, and delivering Navigation Aids products and non-Radar Surveillance Products. ➢ Detailed tasks description and responsibilities Accountable for customer projects in Airspace Mobility Solutions (NAVAIDS and Non-Radar Surveillance), with responsibilities for sales, costs, cash flow, and project quality, ensuring customer satisfaction. ➢ Tasks and responsibilities Ensuring comprehensive planning, execution, and acceptance activities throughout project delivery. Representing Thales interests within the assigned area of responsibility. Analyzing contract content and implementing it in delivery and service packages. Creating and updating project baselines, schedules, and budgets. Negotiating with local subcontractors regarding project-related work in collaboration with the purchasing department. Managing customer requests and contract changes to closure. Managing external suppliers. Creating and maintaining project documentation following Thales processes and tools. Defining and managing all elements required for successful project delivery, including design, maintenance, training, spare parts, and documentation. Applying lessons learned from project delivery and providing feedback to departments. Participating in offer preparations, scheduling, and conducting risk assessments. ➢ Education : Engineering degree or equivalent qualification. Certification in IPMA, PMI, or comparable project management qualification. ➢ Experience : At least 5 years of professional project management experience in an international environment. Proven stress management skills. Proficiency in planning tools (MS Project, Excel), and office applications. Good understanding of business administration, contract, and supplier management. Experience with Change Order Management and upselling in collaboration with Legal, Contracts, and Sales teams. Ability to monitor project performance using relevant indicators (financial and schedule). Knowledge of financial data and business planning. Experience managing international customers in multi-supplier environments. Experience with industry schemas (JV, Consortium, ATI, RTI, Co/Subcontracting). Fluent in English and Spanish, both spoken and written; Italian language skills are mandatory. Additional languages are a plus. Knowledge of relevant air traffic control regulations and standards is desirable. ➢ Social competencies : Independence and creativity in problem-solving. Leadership skills, including lateral leadership within project teams. Strong negotiation skills and experience dealing with international customers. Willingness to travel globally.
