Your Responsibilities
As a Expert Product Configurator Architecture, you will ensure architectural integrity, quality and cross‑system alignment of Schindler’s product configuration models.
Your responsibilities include:
* Implementation of generic configuration rules and frameworks to support business processes and interfaces based on requirements specifications from BPOs/BPiMs or similar departments.
* Identifying and implementing product and quality process improvements affecting multiple departments within CTO and the wider business.
* Leading and facilitating teams across the CTO organization to define architecture strategies and advance the Product Configurator strategy and roadmap.
* Maintaining constant communication, educating and coaching product configurator modelers.
What You Bring (Required Qualifications)
* University degree or equivalent (Computer Science or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering oriented); minimum: Bachelor.
* Proven and strong leadership skills, including a growth mindset — 10+ years .
* Strong analytical knowledge and expert‑level understanding of configuration logics — 10+ years .
* Proven experience in the elevator industry (or a similar industry) — 5+ years .
* Hands‑on experience with Camos Develop or similar configuration modeling environment; SAP VC knowledge beneficial — 5+ years .
* Advanced knowledge of IT systems and a strong understanding of business processes related to offer and order fulfilment — 5+ years .
* Ability to lead and influence employees across diverse cultural backgrounds.
* Systematic thinking, problem‑solving ability and strong logical reasoning.
* English — C2 (Proficient) .
Qualifications That Will Strengthen Your Profile (Nice to Have)
* Camos Develop, CPQ knowledge and SAP Variant Configuration (SAP MM, SD).
* Team‑working mindset and strong understanding of end‑to‑end Sales Configurator processes, with the ability to convert Product Owner direction into concrete action.
* Programming skills (VBA, C, Python, Java) alongside proficiency with Microsoft applications (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Elevator product knowledge, including system and component engineering calculations.
