Design digital board architecture, evaluate new platforms (or consolidate existing platforms) including ARM Cortex Microcontrollers or Microprocessors, FPGA/System On Chip, GPU, VPU, memories, and interfacing resources like SPI, PCIe, Ethernet ICs. Maintain end-to-end ownership of hardware development, including rapid prototyping, layout, and supervision of PCB design. Code FPGA using VHDL/Verilog HDL and proprietary tools from LATTICE, INTEL, XILINX. Develop low-level digital board firmware, debug code, interface camera modules, 2D Image Sensors, and 3D TOF sensors. Test, debug, and verify subsystem behavior under various environmental conditions, ensuring EMC compliance and reporting results during technical reviews. Additional Responsibilities Manage external engineering resources, set up needed resources, and integrate deliverables into project development. Perform schematic entry with approved tools, check Bill of Materials, and manage firmware releases according to company procedures. Participate in design reviews, execute validation tests during development stages, and report results. Innovate and submit patent proposals, maintain relationships with technology providers and suppliers. Profile system performance in the lab, benchmark products, and document finished products. Provide critical review and guidance on analysis and design tasks. Requirements Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering. At least 8 years of experience in digital hardware board design, including microcontrollers, microprocessors, SOCs, GPUs, memories, and communication interfaces. Knowledge of platform design, embedded systems development, FPGA coding, schematic tools (preferably Siemens Mentor Expedition), programming (C or similar), operating systems, and lab instrumentation. Experience with board troubleshooting, EMI/EMC compliance, and certification.
