OverviewThe Sales & Tendering Engineer is a key role in the preparation of the technical‐commercial offer for the products handled by the factory and serves as the first interface between the production site and the external commercial community.Verification of the client's technical specifications and eventual "offer review" in collaboration with other departments within the site, depending on the project's challenges (such as R&D, purchasing, project management, etc.). Maintain constant relationships with Area Sales Managers and Account Managers to ensure maximum support in meeting the needs of international clients that the unit deals with. Conduct follow‐up to maximise the chances of winning the project.Mensa internaSmartworkingThe ideal candidate will oversee the preparation of the commercial offer, starting from the collection of technical and market information; they will examine requests, associate standard or non‐standard products to be quoted, apply correct costs, provide intra‐company support to discuss project feasibility, negotiate details and possible design variations with the commercial team, and implement specific actions to enhance the technical/commercial position against competitors.The candidate will then proceed with the costing of the products until the formulation of the offer with its commercial part. Following the receipt of the order, they might request a kick‐off meeting with other departments to transfer and share project details to ensure a smooth order execution phase. They will constantly interface with the purchasing and quality offices.Required SkillsExcellent knowledge of Italian and English.Knowledge of another foreign language (German on top) will be considered a plus.Bachelor's / Master's degree: Electrical, Mechanical, and Materials Engineering.
