EpidemiologistWe are seeking a highly experienced Epidemiologist proficient in SAS and R to help lead and support our research team in the Public Health Sciences Department within the Parkinson School of Health Sciences and Public Health. The role involves contributing to high-level research, data analysis, manuscript preparation, and grant applications, while fostering collaboration with a multidisciplinary research team and external stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Principal Investigator and research team to design and conduct epidemiological studies; perform statistical analyses using advanced methods; ensure accurate data management.Assist in preparation of NIH grant proposals and progress reports.Collaborate on writing, reviewing, and editing manuscripts for publication; assist in preparing presentations for conferences.Work closely with PI and multidisciplinary team members to achieve research objectives; provide support and mentorship to junior researchers and graduate students.Manage and lead analysis of complex datasets (including survey design and ecological data) using SAS and R; oversee data managementprocesses; identify, analyze, and interpret trends to generate actionable insights.Minimum Education and Work ExperiencePhD in epidemiology, biostatistics, statistics, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience in biostatistics and/or epidemiology.QualificationsProficiency in SAS and R; experience with STATA or SPSS is a plus.Experience with electronic health record (EHR) data analysis is a plus.Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.Aptitude for manuscript and grant writing.Exceptional problem‐solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate in a diverse team.Experience mentoring junior researchers and students.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects and compile comprehensive reports and presentations.Computer SkillsAdvanced proficiency in SAS, R, STATA, and/or SPSS.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Familiarity with data management tools and applications.Additional InformationLocation: Maywood‐Health Sciences Campus.
