You lead technical development across the product lifecycle — from design solutions to testing, validation, and production readiness.This role is practical, collaborative, and impactful, with opportunities to influence product decisions and work directly with customers and suppliers.Core Responsibilities You will be independently responsible within the electrical department reporting to the Product engineering Department (Dpt.) for developing electrical components (mainly wire-harness) from the quotation phase to series production in the complete seat system and you will be integrated into our project teams and work closely with departments such as Structure, Foam, Trim, CAD, Testing, Prototype Building, FMEA and assembly plants. You will work closely as well with suppliers and final customers. Main responsibilities are the followings:Lead technical development of electrical components (mainly wire-harness)Translate customer specifications into reliable and compliant solutionsCoordinate with design, quality, and manufacturing teamsSupport testing, analysis, and design reviewsManage engineering changes and technical documentationWork with suppliers and customer to ensure product and process readinessParticipate in continuous improvement activitiesWhat You'll Bring Technical degree and technical background in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics with basis of Mechanical Engineering and Automotive EngineeringAt least 3 years of professional experience in the automotive industryAbility to read technical drawings such as wiring diagrams, system, or dimensional drawingsAbility to build wire harness prototypesExperience with vehicle bus systems like CAN & LINKnowledge of Product Life Cycle and DFMEA, PFMEA, DFA/DFM is required, as well as proficiency in MS Office, PLM, Cad SWGood command of English, fluent ItalianHigh motivation, flexibility, goal orientation, and reliabilityWork effectively in cross-functional teams Analytical, structured, and independent working styleHands‐on approach and ability to manage multi‐stakeholder activitiesStrong analytical mindset, problem solving, and organization skillsConfidence working with technical specifications and test dataAvailability to travelWhy Lear Grugliasco Work on real automotive products used globallyConnect with global teams and customersGrowth opportunities in engineering and product leadershipCollaborative, hands‐on environmentExposure to advanced development processes and tools
