Role
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Junior AWS Data Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to join our Data & Analytics team.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Support the development and deployment of predictive models on time series data.
- Contribute to Dynamic Pricing initiatives through data modeling and forecasting techniques.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and Business teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Work with AWS cloud services to manage, process, and analyze data.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance optimization.
- Support model monitoring, validation, and continuous improvement activities.
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Basic knowledge of AWS cloud services (e.g., S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift).
- Familiarity with:
- Data pipeline development (ETL/ELT processes)
- Time series forecasting models
- SQL and Python
- Predictive analytics concepts
- Understanding of data modeling and data lakehouse concepts
- Experience working with structured and semi-structured data
- Basic familiarity with Amazon Bedrock and its potential applications in data-driven solutions
- Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills in English
Nice to Have
- Exposure to MLOps practices.
- Experience deploying predictive models in production environments.
- AWS Amplify or Angular
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, or pricing analytics domains.
