As we look ahead to the next season 2026, we are opening now the search for an Hotel Operation Manager at Lupaia, one of Tuscany’s most enchanting and exclusive properties located on a hilltop in the heart of Tuscany and affiliated Autentico Hotels. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to play a key role in a highly personalized, luxury environment. The right candidate will lead day-to-day operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and work closely with the owners, who live on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all hotel departments (team of 32)
Ensure operational excellence across all guest touchpoints
Be highly visible and hands-on in daily operations
Manage guest relations with a warm and proactive approach
Represent the owners in day-to-day decisions and communication
Support purchasing, cost control, and supplier relations (non-food)
Liaise with department heads and manage HR planning
Oversee reservations, front office quality control, and service delivery
Contribute to budgeting and KPI monitoring
Attend trade shows, media events, and sales trips when needed
Ideal Profile:
Proven experience in hotel operations, ideally in luxury or boutique hospitality
Fluent in both English and Italian (additional languages are a plus)
Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset
Strong leadership and communication skills
Passion for detail and personalized guest service
Comfortable working in a dynamic, guest-facing environment

Full-time role: 6 days/week during the open season (March –November 2026), 3–4 days/week during closure
A direct role in shaping and managing the guest experience alongside the owners
· Travel may be required for trade shows, sales trips, media events.
This is not an office job – half of the time should be spent talking to guests, checking all parts of the property, and be visible and approachable to the team. Full immersion into daily operations is essential.
The owners want to be involved in all aesthetic, strategic and guest experience decisions.
