Dematic is looking for a Team Lead Operations for its Customer Service Team, to be hired on a permanent contract at its premises in Bologna. The role involves leading a team to manage and control all customer service activities at our Customer Distribution Center in Anzola dell’Emilia. Managing the operational team and coordinating activities to maintain productivity, safety, and quality standards. Serving as the main contact for operators and technicians, addressing technical or process issues during plant operations. Key Responsibilities : Coordinate a team of workers alongside the Site Manager. Monitor and supervise daily plant operations, ensuring adherence to protocols and procedures. Meet production targets by maximizing efficiency and minimizing downtime. Support the team of operators technically and operationally for seamless plant operations. Manage and optimize control systems (SCADA, PLC, etc.) to maintain operational parameters and address anomalies. Collaborate with maintenance to schedule activities without disrupting production. Maintain safety standards and monitor safety and quality compliance. Prepare reports on plant performance and recommend process improvements. Communicate regularly with management and stakeholders regarding plant status and production. Requirements : Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation Engineering, or related field. 3-5 years experience in operational supervision or plant management, preferably in automated or industrial sectors. Knowledge of industrial automation systems (SCADA, PLC, DCS). Ability to manage teams and liaise with internal stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and emergency handling capabilities. Understanding of safety and quality regulations in the industrial sector. Required Skills : Leadership and team coordination skills. Technical expertise in plant operations and process optimization.
