Global Marketing Communications Manager
Your role and responsibilities
As Measurement & Analytics Europe Region Marketing & Communications Manager (plus selected countries), you will manage and ensure effective local positioning, communications strategy, and activities throughout the Europe region. Together with your collaborative team, you will plan and realize marketing campaigns to raise awareness, generate leads and establish customer loyalty. This requires liaising with stakeholders in the local, regional, as well as the global organization. You will play an integral role in building and engaging the Division's customer base and creating effective strategies that will promote the short- and long-term growth of both the Division and Business Lines. You will be part of the Division Marketing & Communications core team and will contribute to the continuous improvement of the function.
This role reports to the Global Head of Marketing and Communications, Measurement & Analytics Division.
We primarily prefer applications from Italy, with office locations in Ossuccio (CO) or Sesto San Giovanni (MI)
Your responsibilities:
• Manage and implement leadership strategies, working alongside the Europe team to orchestrate the planning, budgeting, and execution of marketing and communications in alignment with the ABB brand and visual identity, in partnership with global and local teams. Support sales initiatives, new product launches, campaigns and leverage data insights to make better decision
• Digital Marketing Communications: Manage and localize digital marketing communications across the region by collaborating with global division, Business Lines and local teams to amplify messages, maintain web and intranet presence, and execute targeted online campaigns across various digital channels and countries
• Events and customer experience: Plan and execute local trade shows, exhibitions, and customer events (including the ones at ABB factories), coordinating across other divisions, and developing annual marketing strategies to enhance customer experience and maximize ROMI.
• Internal Communications: Manage internal communications activities, cascade global and local initiatives (eg. implementing people programs, promoting a culture of employee engagement, in both PAMA offices and factories.
• Media Relations and Content: create impactful media coverage and support regional sales by localizing global marketing content and developing local success stories/case studies, to build thought leadership and cultivate customer loyalty in Europe.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field
- 7+ years of experience in marketing or marketing communications in a technical or industrial B2B environment
- Commercial awareness and proficiency in translating local market needs into actions and monitor and report on progress
- Advanced project and people management skills with the ability to manage several large projects at any given time
- Open-minded, with an interest in technology and strategic thinking capability and ready to explore new things and challenges
- Skilled networker and collaborative contributor with decisive and change management skills
- Practical experience with web content management tools is considered as advantage
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools (e.g. Pardot) and SalesForce.com
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in Italian is highly appreciated
