System safety / hw platform engineer (lazio)

TXT e-Tech, a company of the TXT Group, is looking for a System Safety / HW Platform Engineer to join complex projects in the Defense sector, with activities carried out on-site at the client's premises.
Role description
The selected candidate will be involved in systems engineering and system safety activities on hardware platforms dedicated to the deployment of core business applications for defense systems.
The role includes managing the entire platform lifecycle, from requirement definition and management through integration, qualification, and acceptance phases, working on safety-critical systems and systems of systems installed on air, land, and naval platforms.
The work will also include aspects related to electronic design, HW/SW integration, physical system behavior, and the modeling of computing architectures integrated with communication and launch systems.
Main activities
Management of system requirements throughout the entire lifecycle (definition, traceability, verification, and validation)
Hardware and software design and integration of computing and communication platforms
Analysis of system-level safety requirements and support for risk mitigation activities
Production of Safety and RAMT documentation (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Testability)
Support during the qualification and acceptance phases of the platform at suppliers' and subcontractors' sites
Contribution to System Engineering activities in accordance with international standards (ARP****, ARP****, DO-178, DO-254, IEC *****)
Technical interaction with clients, suppliers, and project stakeholders
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent qualification)
Academic background in:

Experience in the Defense sector

Mid-level profile: 3–5 years of professional experience in similar roles

The salary for this position ranges from EUR 38,000 to EUR 42,000 gross per year
Job classification will be defined during the selection process based on the candidate's profile and in accordance with the Italian Metalworkers' National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanico)
