Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated, curious, and enterprising individual to join our team as a Quality Manager. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will report directly to the Plant Quality Manager and play a critical role in ensuring excellent quality standards.
Your primary responsibilities will include tracking and reviewing internal quality performance KPIs, conducting end-of-line and process tests, overseeing finished product quality assurance, investigating and troubleshooting quality-related product or production issues, and preparing, executing, and following up on internal process or system audits.
As a Quality Manager, you will have the opportunity to manage a highly complex manufacturing department and contribute to the development of new processes and procedures to improve quality and efficiency.
Main Responsibilities:
* Track and review internal quality performance KPIs (e.g., waste, rework, costs);
* Conduct end-of-line and process tests;
* Oversee finished product quality assurance;
* Investigate and troubleshoot quality-related product or production issues;
* Prepare, execute, and follow up on internal process or system audits.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a degree in Management or Mechanical Engineering, as well as at least 4 years of experience in a complex environment as a Quality Engineer. You should also have good knowledge of quality tools (Fishbone, 5 Whys, root cause analysis, etc.), MS Office, and basic statistical skills. Additionally, you should have a strong entrepreneurial mindset, be proactive, and inspire others to be proactive too. You will also need people management skills, the ability to see solutions rather than problems, and excel at solving problems. Finally, you should be flexible and adaptable in a constantly changing environment and possess strong facilitation and communication skills.
