Role Description
The Intern Buyer supports the Purchasing team in sourcing and procurement activities, working alongside senior buyers and internal stakeholders.
Main Activities
* Support the preparation and management of RFQs
* Collect and analyze supplier quotations and cost data
* Assist in supplier evaluation and sourcing recommendations
* Support the preparation of contracts and purchasing documentation
* Help monitor supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery)
* Support administrative tasks (purchase orders, reports, presentations)
Learning objectives
* Gain a solid understanding of the end-to-end purchasing and sourcing process, including RFQs, supplier selection, and basic contract management
* Develop analytical skills through cost analysis, supplier comparison, and performance monitoring (cost, quality, delivery)
* Learn how to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and interact with suppliers in an international environment
* Build proficiency in purchasing tools and systems (Excel, SAP) while strengthening professional communication and organizational skills
Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Law or similar
* C1 proficiency in English
* Interest in procurement, sourcing and supply chain topics
* Knowledge and interest of automotive products and technologies
* Proactive and results-driven
* Good analytical and organizational skills
* Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Good knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
