Overview Reporting to the Director of Global Events, the Marketing Associate supports the Marketing coordinator in marketing activities and events in EMEA, Asia Pacific, and Latin America. This includes, but not limited to, external communication and marketing contents. Responsibilities Doble-Hosted External Events including EuroDoble, Life of a Transformer in Europe, IndiaDoble, APTUG, and Latin American Conference as well as smaller Regional Seminars Supports the Doble Hosted events as needed with various levels of local support. Event Communications and Promotions including the creation of the event website and registration; e-communications creation; working with corporate marketing department for a social media campaign Working with the Event Technical Lead to finalize event program, detailed agenda, and other supporting information Track attendees and revenue / expense goals – relaying that to key stakeholders Event logistical support, both pre-event and on-site Complete post-show follow-up including attendee follow up communications and post-show survey completion Trade Show Participation for EMEA, APAC, and LATAM Facilitates and organizes external participation in tradeshows in EMEA, APAC, and LATAM requests prior to the fiscal year Manages Doble's participation in approximately 40 trade shows including registration, logistics, post-show follow up, and on-site management as needed Organizes demo unit requests, marketing brochures, customer giveaways, and other supplies Facilitate the lead collection at these trade shows in a reasonable timeframe Marketing Activities Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product development, and offer management to ensure consistent messaging and branding as per Corporate Marketing Maintain marketing databases, mailing lists, and customer relationship management (CRM) system Decision-Making Latitude: Approvals should be sought by management before released to public unless specified otherwise Qualifications Education : Bachelor\'s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, Liberal Arts, or equivalent technical degree and / or a combination of education and related experience Required Experience : Professional job or internship experience directly related to the marketing / advertising field Experience using computers for a variety of tasks Strong computer skills working in Microsoft Office High knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator Must thrive in a deadline-driven, fast-paced business environments Knowledge and previous use of social media marketing, platforms, and tools Worked and contributed to a team environment in a business setting Preferred Experience (Not Required) : Digital marketing experience Knowledge of event management tools, Cvent platform and GoToWebinar platform a plus Experience with marketing automation tools such as Pardot Photography / Videography skills Knowledge, Skills & Abilities : Fluent in English Ability to work effectively within a team and independently High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Good organization skills Demonstrated strong written and oral business communication skills Solid workflow management skills which include organization, prioritization, appreciation of deadlines, and attention to detail Excellent interpersonal skills Proven project management skills and ability to meet critical deadlines Willingness to travel Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to stand, sit, use computers, read, write, type, use copy machines, file paperwork, use telephones, and utilize written and oral communication to interact with clients, co-working and customers.
