Land Acquisition Manager, Segrate (Milan), Italy The candidate should have several years of experience in land acquisition for logistic and industrial development projects. This role involves developing and managing a cross-functional team with diverse skills and collaborating with other departments. Responsibilities and duties: Research new plots in accordance with VGP criteria; Read and understand the Urban Planning Act and urban development processes; Prepare documentation for technical feasibility and budgets for economic viability; Conduct reporting activities; Negotiate with sellers; Review proposals and contracts; Coordinate with Municipalities and Authorities regarding potential locations, technical feasibility, and urbanistic status; Manage Technical and Legal Due Diligence during acquisition; Oversee urbanistic processes by liaising with authorities and managing external consultants; Assess risks associated with new opportunities, ensure deadlines are met, and handle unexpected situations. Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in land acquisition for logistic and production projects; Background in architecture or as a technical engineer (preferred); Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications; Ability to plan, develop, and monitor land acquisition schedules; Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; Ability to identify and pursue opportunities to maximize project profits; Experience working in an international environment; Ability to work independently and manage projects autonomously; Proficiency in English, both written and spoken; Willingness to travel within Italy.
