About this Role
As a Carbon Project Developer at neustark, you will be an integral part of the Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) team. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and integrity of the company's carbon removal credits, adhering to official carbon standards. The MRV team manages the full spectrum of project certification processes, from registration and validation to monitoring and verification, culminating in the retirement of carbon removal certificates. This contributes significantly to measurable climate action. You will be responsible for overseeing validation and verification audits at various carbon removal sites across Europe. This involves conducting stakeholder consultations and preparing extensive documentation and reports. Another key focus is to collaborate with IT, Operations, and Sales departments to improve data collection, storage, and monitoring processes, emphasizing automation and efficiency. Your proactive approach will help identify roadblocks and propose effective solutions, ensuring seamless execution of certification processes.

Requirements
* University degree in environmental sciences, engineering, or related fields.
* Experience in life cycle assessment and carbon accounting in voluntary markets.
* Strong communication skills, particularly in English.
* Independent work ethic with strong project management abilities.
* Fluent in English; German and/or French knowledge is a plus.
