The Junior M&A Manager is the person responsible for supporting valuations and deals in the renewable sector, mainly PV, from origination to closing will be the first responsibility. Main Responsibilities - Assisting in producing valuations for new M&A transactions, mainly in PV sector; - Completing financial and commercial analyses of target businesses to assess whether they would be viable for acquisition; - Undertaking post-acquisition reviews on deals, producing reports and analysis to assist with future integrations and to overall improve the company’s M&A processes; - Monitor the energy market, deeping in M&A transactions perform by competitors; - Support the M&A team during the due diligence process required in relation to acquisition of projects and/or pipeline; - Support the preparation of presentations to be presented to the investment team on new potential M&A transactions. - Build and maintain a network with industry professionals and advisors. Key Requirements - 1 to 3 years of experience in renewable energy sector or infrastructure valuations and/or project finance transactions; - Experience in an M&A transaction environment, related experience might include - Transactional Services, Deal Advisory or inhouse M&A. - The ability to make advantageous analytical and commercial judgments. - An understanding of investment appraisal methodologies such as, IRR and DCF and how changes in these might affect KPIs. - Good written and verbal communication skills.
