Overview Reporting to nominated Regional Airport Ops and Contract Manager, the Airport Ops and Contract Manager (AOCM) will be responsible for delivering a safe, on time operation through effective contract management of third party suppliers in a cost conscious manner. The role will also be responsible for trials and implementation of new policies and procedures in conjunction with the central Ground Ops team. Responsibilities Management of safety, compliance, and supplier relationship for third party partners. Ownership and management of ground handling and de-icing contracts for their life cycle. Ownership and management of cost, including budget accountability : Delivery of internal performance targets, including revenue activities. Identify, trial and implementation of new process and policies to help improve performance or customer experience. Management of risk at airport level Investigation of safety events and lead preventative action plans Ownership and management of ground handling contracts, including budget accountability through strict cost control, and supplier relationship management Delivery of on time performance (OTP)against set targets Management of all revenue activities within their remit. Represent easyJet at required forums Principle point of contact for easyJet GO at nominated airports Management an oversight of KPI’s, projects, communications, and improvement plans, both internally and externally. Follow liquidated damages process Undertake the necessary preparations and actions to ensure seasonal readiness Responsible for cost saving initiatives Additional key responsibilities for Top 30 Airports; Be involved in terminals / airports projects -protect number 1 or 2 positions Represent easyJet and attend the AOC meeting and other airport and regulator meetings where applicable (CAA, DGAC,FOCA,ACG etc.) Provide strategic input to the GO 5 year plan at airport level Influence the licenses delivery by local authorities Requirements of the Role Essential Proven experience of managing a budget, with the ability to challenge costs Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and cost reduction Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders Proven experience of effective third-party management, driving suppliers to achieve performance and cost savings. Excellent SGHA and IATA contract knowledge and contract management skills Tenacity and resilience to succeed in a fast-paced environment Desirable Experience of operations management within an airline / passenger transport / logistics environment Experience of working autonomously, working towards targets with mínimal direction Location & Hours of Work This full-time role will be based in Malpensa and will be 40 hours per week.
