Position Overview:
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilledSurgical Technicianto join anAcute Care / Academic Medical Centerin Syracuse, NY. This role requires expertise in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, with experience in aLevel 1 trauma center or teaching hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in surgical procedures across multiple specialties
* Maintain sterile field and ensure proper instrumentation
* Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia teams
* Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards
Qualifications:
* Education:Graduate of an accreditedSurgical Technology program
* Licensure:CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) or CORSThighly recommended
* Experience:
* Minimum3 yearsof recent OR experience in an acute care facility (within the last 4 years)
* Prior experience in aLevel 1 or 2 trauma centerrequired
* Must have scrubbed experience for a broad range of cases, including: Orthopedics, General Surgery, ENT, Vascular, GYN, Neurosurgery, Bariatric, GU, Trauma
* Technical Skills:Proficiency in complex surgical procedures
* Soft Skills:Adaptability, teamwork, and strong communication
