PpWe are seeking a Data Scientist and Application Developer to join a cross‑functional team that delivers data‑driven solutions tied to manufacturing in a GMP environment. The role alternates between building business applications that enable fast, iterative analytics and operationalizing models that directly inform product quality decisions. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliBuild and maintain internal web applications (both GMP and non‑GMP) that make analytics usable in day‑to‑day workflows. /liliDevelop services using Python with Flask (and/or FastAPI where appropriate) – lightweight APIs for data access and model execution, and user‑facing interfaces using Flask + Jinja, optionally adding React for richer interactions. /liliImplement pragmatic software engineering practices (modular design, testing, logging/monitoring hooks, clear documentation) aligned to intended use (GMP vs non‑GMP). /liliApply strong fundamentals in statistics, data extraction, cleaning and modeling to diverse manufacturing datasets (batch/process time series, quality data, laboratory and instrument outputs). /liliDevelop, evaluate, and document models to support insights into manufacturing performance in a GMP environment, focusing on interpretability and lifecycle considerations. /liliCollaborate with engineers, scientists and quality partners to define problems, select fit‑for‑purpose methods, and translate outcomes into operational decisions. /liliCommunicate findings clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders; create reusable analysis patterns and templates. /liliUse Git fluently in a team setting (branches, pull requests, code reviews). /liliContribute to maintainable, supportable solutions on an internal hosting platform; collaborate with platform/IT partners as needed. /liliFollow good documentation and change practices appropriate to regulated and non‑regulated use, ensuring solutions are understandable and auditable when required. /li /ulh3Required Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor’s degree (or higher) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). /liliStrong data science fundamentals: basic statistics, experimental reasoning, data wrangling, exploratory analysis, model building and evaluation. /liliProficient Python skills for both analysis and application development. /liliFamiliarity with basic SQL fundamentals. /liliExperience building user‑facing applications using Flask, templates/Jinja and basic front‑end concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). /liliAbility to work with diverse, imperfect datasets and iterate toward robust solutions. /liliStrong collaboration and communication skills in a cross‑functional environment. /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliFamiliarity with FastAPI and API design concepts. /liliExperience supporting software or analytics in regulated/GMP‑like environments (validation mindset, documentation discipline, traceability). /liliExposure to manufacturing, pharma, chemical, or other industrial process data. /liliKnowledge of Azure services and/or identity concepts (e.g., EntraID). Not required but a plus. /liliFamiliarity with containerization/DevOps practices (e.g., Docker, CI/CD). /li /ulh3Salary Benefits /h3pAnticipated base pay range: €48,600.00–€77,395.00. In addition to base pay, a bonus may be offered, vacation days, parental leave (minimum 12weeks), bereavement leave, caregiver leave, volunteer leave, wellness reimbursement, and various insurance plans.
