Don't miss your chance to make an impact! /p pWe are looking for an experienced Senior Stress Engineer to be responsible for ensuring that structural car components comply with the design and performance specifications defined by Technical Management. The role involves structural analysis, design support, validation, and service‑life follow‑up, and contributing to continuous improvement of stress methodologies. /p pPlease note that recruitment for this position will take place on a rolling basis, meaning that should the ideal candidate be identified the vacancy will be closed. Should you be interested in the role, we encourage you to promptly apply. /p h3Structural Analysis Design Support /h3 pPerform stress analyses (FEA and hand calculations) from the preliminary design phase through to final part release, providing clear and traceable documentation of all analysis work (Stress Reports). /p pOversee and coordinate the work of other Stress Analysts assigned to related tasks or components. /p pSupport the Team Leader in damage and defect investigations, ensuring timely and accurate root cause identification. /p pCollaborate effectively with other departments to collect all necessary input data and facilitate cross‑functional cooperation throughout the project lifecycle. /p h3Structural Validation Service Follow‑Up /h3 pMonitor the in‑service behaviour of assigned car parts, including trackside usage, structural testing, and service life follow‑up. /p pCreate and maintain test procedures, supporting the execution of structural validation activities in collaboration with the RD Testing Department. /p pSupport the Team Leader in the preparation and management of documentation related to track support and design load definition. /p pProvide occasional trackside support during race weekends or testing events, following the agreed shift schedule. /p h3Methodology Development Cross‑Functional Collaboration /h3 pWork with the Stress Methodology group to continuously improve the calculation and sizing methods used for structural components. /p pExecute daily and weekly activities according to project timelines, providing regular feedback on progress and milestones. /p pMaintain and develop positive working relationships with all departments and external stakeholders. /p pDemonstrate flexibility and professionalism in line with project requirements and timeframes, showing a proactive and solution‑oriented attitude. /p h3What we offer /h3 pWorking in a young, collaborative and international environment. /p pTailored training. /p pCompany Events / Briefings. /p pOnsite Gym. /p pBonus scheme. /p pAnnual salary review process. /p pMeal Tickets /p pFree additional health insurance /p h3Experience /h3 ul liMechanical or Aeronautical Engineering master’s degree; /li liStrong, broad understanding of carbon and metal structures; /li liStrong knowledge of theory behind FEA; /li liExcellent usage and knowledge of FE pre/processing (Altair Hypermesh/OptiStruct, Abaqus); /li liPrevious knowledge of Siemens‑NX is a plus; /li liStrong knowledge of current manufacturing processes (CNC and DMLS) and material science; /li liAbility to work with the team, external suppliers and colleagues; /li liExtensive stress analysis experience at a senior level; /li liPrevious engineering experience in F1; /li liMechanical or Aeronautical Engineering master’s degree; /li liInitiative, proactive and Innovation; /li liAvailability to travel up to one week per month. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
