Posizione:
We are looking for a Junior Designer to join our Design team and support throughout the entire footwear collection development process. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, technical skills, and a strong background in luxury footwear design, contributing to concept development, research, design execution, and collection follow-through.
Main activities:
Support the product design process for footwear collections, including market research, concept development, sketching, spec sheets, and fittings
Conduct in-depth research on global trends, materials, leathers, fabrics, colors, and construction techniques
Create and develop mood boards and concept presentations
Produce technical drawings and fashion illustrations
Participate in fittings and product reviews, ensuring design intent, fit, and quality
Visit and liaise with suppliers and factories
Organize, archive, and manage design materials and references
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across design and production
Requisiti:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury women shoe brand
Strong ability to conceptualize and develop a footwear line, aligned with brand identity
Good knowledge of footwear construction, fit, silhouettes, materials, colorways, stitching techniques, leathers, and trims
Excellent illustration and technical drawing skills
Strong research mindset with the ability to translate insights into design concepts
High attention to detail combined with a refined sense of modern aesthetics and precision
Proactive, resourceful, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in Italian; good knowledge of English is a plus
Education:
Degree in Fashion Design
