Our client, a leading global provider of transportation, is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist.Prima di candidarsi per questo ruolo, la preghiamo di leggere le seguenti informazioni su questa possibilità, riportate di seguito.He/She will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and finance function within the Accounting Team and hierarchically report to Accounts Manager.Main responsibilitiesUpdate supplier informationManage collection of all documentation required for accounts payable processing, including purchase orders, contracts, service reports, and delivery notesRecord supplier invoices, debit notes, and credit notes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policiesPerform accruals for unbilled costs and costs to be accrued, in line with accounting principles and closing deadlinesAnalyze cost variances against budget and forecasts, highlighting any significant discrepanciesLiaise with suppliers to resolve discrepancies, billing issues, and disputesReconcile supplier accounts and prepare periodic reports on outstanding invoices and disputesMonitor payment deadlines and support the execution of payment runs, reporting any issues or delaysPerform any additional administrative or accounting tasks assigned by management.Knowledge, skills and AbilitiesThe ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance or equivalent.At least three years of relevant accounting and finance experience in shipping & logistics industry.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Italian.Interpersonal skillsStrong understanding of accounting principlesMeticulous and careful, hardworking and able to meet tight deadlinesAbility to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiencySalary packageIt will be defined based on actual experience and current compensation, with an indicative range between €40,000 and €45,000.The position is offered under a fixed-term contract, with the possibility of conversion to permane
