Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self‑motivated Construction Manager who can thrive in a fast‑paced environment. The role is based in Turin and involves working on national and international construction projects on an extended‑fixed term.
Accountabilities
* Ensure the quality of works, complying with design and specification requirements.
* Ensure construction activities comply with the construction plan.
* Liaise with customers, authorities, contractors, partners and subcontractors for site and material take‑over and hand‑over.
* Ensure compliance with on‑site HSE rules per the Management Plan.
* Optimize resources (internal, external and subcontractors) against budget and planning.
* Develop site‑specific plans to be implemented in the project programme and budget in agreement with the Construction Manager.
* Continuously update and improve processes and procedures.
* Support the Construction Manager to ensure material availability on site in accordance with the working schedule agreed with the customer and subcontractors.
Required Skills & Experience
* Up to 5 years of site activity, workforce management or technical control and coordination experience.
* Career level: Experienced (Non‑Manager).
* Working knowledge of Windows and the Office suite.
* Experience and fluency with technical drawings and reporting.
* Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Project is a plus.
* Knowledge of signalling, power supply and traction power technology systems.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Knowledge of health, safety and environment.
* Valid driving licence in Sweden and ability to drive.
* Willingness to discuss travel or long‑term assignments to national/foreign construction projects.
Desired Skills & Experience
* Basic to average working knowledge of rail transit subsystems and experience on metro site works is a plus.
* The ideal candidate is self‑confident, smart, communicative and a team worker.
Education and Experience
* High‑school degree in Electric/Mechanic/TLC with 2–5 years of certified experience on railway/metro site electromechanical or civil works.
* Engineering university degree or equivalent technical background (electric, mechanic, TLC) with at least 1 year of work experience on railway/metro site electromechanical or civil works.
Languages
English proficiency required.
