Your new companyOur client is an international company that has been operating for more than 30 years in the design, production and marketing of technologically advanced instrumentation for research and quality control.Characterized by a turnover of more than 50 million and a global presence, the client has around a hundred distributors and has a positioning as an industry leader, also thanks to important investments in R&D.Your new roleWith a view to strengthening the IT team, we are looking for an IT system engineer.The candidate will be responsible for managing the Service Desk, with assistance and IT support at customer laboratories (both in Europe and in the rest of the world) and for software and network configuration issues and management of the main internal applications, with a fairly classic relating to back-up management, installation and configuration of software and networks and a more managerial one aimed at customer training activities and support for the commercial team.Specifically, in addition to a theme of hard skills aimed at a timely resolution of tickets, particular attention is paid to the development of a 360° efficiency improvement of the function's processes, mainly in terms of management/definition of service levels (e.g. reduction of timescales, communication to internal stakeholders), as well as coaching of the work team of end customers, profiling a particularly managerial role, attentive to the development/structuring of the function in a modern and preventive way.What do you need to be successfulWe require 3 to fifteen years of experience in similar roles and a good knowledge of the English language.What you need to do nowIf you are interested in this opportunity, click on "Apply now" to send an updated copy of your CV.
