Siemens Smart Infrastructures offers a comprehensive range of products, systems, solutions, and services related to personal safety, building security and automation, heating, ventilation, air conditioning technology, and electrical power transmission and distribution, including smart grids.
The Operations Finance Manager in our offices will be responsible for:
1. Managing the commercial aspects, ensuring clean books & records, and overseeing the financial performance of the operations organization.
2. Setting up and developing a project controlling team and managing the financial aspects of critical projects.
3. Working closely with the Head of Operations and Project Managers to ensure projects adhere to Project Management standards, customer requirements, and Financial Reporting Guidelines.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Lead the Finance Project Controlling team and oversee projects throughout their lifecycle.
2. Build and coach a team dedicated to financial management of projects, supporting organizational growth.
3. Act as senior financial project controller for critical projects, fostering engagement and ownership among team members.
4. Guide project managers in claim, change order, and contract management, including Opportunity & Risk Management.
5. Review financial performance of projects and operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper record-keeping.
6. Promote compliance, values, and ethics within the team.
Qualifications:
* Experience in project management, reporting, and controlling in B2B markets, preferably in building automation.
* Strong analytical, planning, and risk management skills, with proactive improvement proposals.
* Proven ability to build and manage a team.
* Empathetic, positive outlook, and ownership culture.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across cultures and levels.
* Proficiency in SAP, PowerPoint, and Power BI is a plus.
* Fluent in Italian and English.
* Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or Accounting.
* Knowledge of Italian tender codes and Siemens CPM Certification are advantageous.
* Legal eligibility to work in Italy.
