We are currently looking for a Hardware Installation Engineer to join the team that provide installation
services in SEU region (Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Malta)
This position has to be based in Italy, and ideal candidate should be located close to Milano area.
The main job function for the successful candidate will be to provide highly visible customer support
through the performance of on-site installation of linear accelerators and imaging systems, as well as
overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and
systems.
Responsibilities:
Quickly immerse yourself with all the knowledge in medical linear accelerators and learn about all the technical specificity of such a complex machine.
Perform installations and upgrades of Varian Medical Systems (VMS)products.
Resolve technical issues and assist teammates with troubleshooting.
Demonstrate equipment operation and specifications to customer.
Train customer on basic operations of our equipments.
Generate job reports with VMS reporting tools, as well as expenses reports.
Requirements:
Ability to work autonomously and manage your own schedule, with a high level of autonomy and responsibility.
Willingness to travel: tipically from Monday to Friday, but longer trips might be required in special cases.
Degree from a technical college or university in the field of electronics, biomedical engineering or equivalent.
Excellent understanding of technical systems with the ability to troubleshoot.
Sound knowledge of the use of mechanical tools and electronic measuring devices.
Good computer skills and an understanding of IT networks.
Independent, committed, pragmatic and result-oriented way of working.
Experience in a customer facing position is an advantage
Fluency in the local language and in English, both written and spoken. Additional languages could be an advantage.
