About The Role
As a Lead Procurement Program Manager, you'll be responsible for nuclear projects, working with cross-functional teams to build project strategies, procurement plans, and contracting strategies for end-to-end delivery from concept to close.
Part of the Global Supply Chain Solutions (GSCS) Project Procurement Team, you should have a background in Supply Chain (Strategy, RFx, Supplier Relationship, Contract Negotiation, and Contract Management), with experience in purchasing services and equipment for major projects, including Engineering Procurement Construction and Commissioning (EPCC). You will interface directly with internal customers: Business Unit, Engineering, Quality, Sales Departments, and Project Managers.
You will report to the Senior Procurement Program Manager and be based in one of our European offices (hybrid work model).
Main Responsibilities
1. Work with stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure compliance with project milestones.
2. Deliver savings on the overall project.
3. Develop sourcing strategies and oversee full execution with the Project Team.
4. Identify and capture demand, identify potential suppliers, and establish communication channels.
5. Establish pricing, delivery, terms, and conditions to meet financial, quality, and delivery requirements.
6. Coordinate RFx Processes and establish sourcing strategies for suppliers and services.
7. Understand operational & commercial aspects of suppliers, including financial stability, capacity, and market position, and keep stakeholders informed.
8. Assess supplier capacity, capability, and manufacturing processes in collaboration with GSCS Supplier Performance Organization.
9. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Westinghouse's procurement procedures.
10. Lead contract preparation and purchasing processes.
11. Utilize Best-Cost Country Sourcing strategies.
Qualifications
* BA/BS/ME in business or engineering, Supply Chain Certification, Project Management knowledge, or equivalent experience.
* 5+ years of experience, typically 10-12 years.
* Experience managing large & complex projects.
* Advanced procurement technical background & contract management skills.
