The position You will be part of the Technical Department, working in a fleet team managing daily activities for our vessels.
After an approximately four-month familiarization period, you will be responsible for one to two vessels, reporting to your Fleetteam Manager, who will coach and supervise you.
As a Junior Technical Superintendent, you will manage your assigned vessels daily, ensuring they operate safely, economically, and efficiently according to company standards.
Your responsibilities include preparing budgets and maintenance schedules, coordinating repairs and dry-dockings, monitoring budgets, assessing expenses, and remotely advising onboard management.
You will regularly visit vessels worldwide to assess their performance and report your findings.
We provide relevant internal and external training and opportunities to gain practical experience, including visits to vessels worldwide, assistance during dry-dockings, onboard sailing trips, and visits to our branch office in Italy.
The goal is to develop into a Technical Superintendent within one to three years, managing five vessels independently, including vessel visits and dry-dockings.
