Find your next opportunity today!**Description of Work**Health Care Technician II will serve as an on-the-job trainer, resource person, and mentor. Work involves knowledge and demonstration of all Health Care Technician I level tasks, duties, and responsibilities. The Health Care Technician II will spend much of their time in a mentor role and must be a problem-solver and troubleshooter. Work involves providing ongoing observation, interaction, and feedback to individuals under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. This position provides safe and basic care when transporting patients to and from external appointments as well as in the hospital. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30p but may be required to rotate to other shifts including day, evening and/or night shift. May require overtime. Requires reporting for duty in inclement weather.**Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences****Salary Range: $32,444-$48,665****Recruitment Range: $39,312 - $43,302****\*A Sign-on bonus of $2,500 may be offered to the successful applicant(s) of this posting, contingent on the 2025-2026 Budget Approval.***Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement.**The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required.
