And that’s where you come in. /ph3Accountabilities /h3ulliDefine train architecture and transversal performances (weight, gauge, ergonomics) /liliDraft and manage the technical specification of provision, ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders. /liliDevelop and maintain layout designs for vehicle seating areas in compliance with standards and project needs. /liliMonitor project KPIs and evaluate design constraints related to Sub-System Breakdown Structure (SBS) activities and deliverables. /liliLead structural engineering activities, including codesign and welded parts of carbody components. /liliDefine the mechanical interfaces of the carbody shell structure, and related sub-systems. /liliPerform requirements management using standard tools such as DOORS. /li /ulh3Required Skills / Knowledge /h3ulliDegree in Mechanical Engineering. /liliExperience of at least 3 years in complex projects in the railway industry. /liliIn-depth knowledge of relevant standards and regulations for rail vehicle design. /liliProficiency with CAD tools, such as Autodesk and CREO 11. /liliExperience with requirements management tools (DOORS preferred). /liliBasic knowledge of electrics and mechanics is required. /liliKnowledge of the main office automation software/tools (Word, Excel, etc.) /liliKnowledge of mechanical design software (Autocad, Creo, Catia, etc.) and the IBM DOORS requirements management tool. /liliKnowledge of Engineering Processes and Railway Operations. /liliAbility to work effectively with all levels of the organisation, with the attitude to contribute with constructive and practical ideas. /liliReadiness to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, multitasking international environment. /liliAbility to work autonomously in teams and for projects is required. /liliAvailability for short-term national and international business trip. /li /ulh3Desired Skills / Knowledge /h3ulliAbility to manage and plan the assigned tasks independently and team-working. /liliAbility to analyze business requirements, problem-solving attitude and business process analysis. /liliAbility to face with the different internal functions (internal customer) and external (suppliers, customers, partners). /liliPlanning and organization. /liliVersatile in learning and strong desire to remain up-to-date with changes in technology and best industry practices. /liliStrong business acumen technical skills. /liliGood communication and interpersonal skills. /liliAttitude to work in an international and multi-cultural reality. /li /ulh3Education / Qualifications /h3pDegree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical background /ph3Languages /h3pGood knowledge of written and spoken English is mandatory.
