A Tech Rep Supervisor (Technical Representative, also referred to as Functional User Rep or Business System Engineer) represents operations towards IT, and IT towards the operations, ensuring operational requirements are supported by UPS’ IT systems while safeguarding that operational requirements follow global IT standards.
What You'll Do
Analyze business requirements, translate them into systematic processes, test and support the implementation of healthcare supply chain solutions into our Warehouse Management system.
Receive extensive training on these applications and be trained in healthcare process compliance, enabling you to support implementation on our new system solution, identify and implement operational improvements, and act as the 1st point of contact for operational IT questions.
Work autonomously on projects while collaborating closely with clients, Tech Reps for other UPS applications, Industrial Engineering, IT, QA, Operations and Project Management within the UPS Healthcare global business unit.
What You'll Need
Education: Preferably a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology or related engineering.
Experience: At least 3+ years in a role as industrial engineer, logistic specialist or consultant in a supply chain management environment, including business requirements engineering and functional/user acceptance testing. Healthcare Logistics experience is a big plus.
Competencies: Strong knowledge of operational methods and procedures in a supply chain management environment and knowledge of SCM systems (OMS, WMS, TMS). Ability to determine and review various solutions and translate them into business requirement documents.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel.
Excellent working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; MS Visio experience preferred. Knowledge of SQL and MS Access preferred. Excellent communication in English and Italian.
