We are now embarking on a new chapter of our journey that will further boost CMCC’s global position in climate change research…Together! /p h3Role /h3 pThe selected candidate will provide legal support and advice to the Foundation’s organizational units on all matters within the Unit’s scope of responsibility and, in particular, will handle the analysis, guidance, and oversight of various legal issues, especially those related to the Foundation’s contractual matters. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 h3Contract Management /h3 ul liDrafting, reviewing, and negotiating research contracts and, more generally, any contract or formal agreement entered into by the Foundation with third parties—both public and private—managed by the Legal Contract Advisory organizational unit; /li liManaging, maintaining, and improving workflows, processes, templates, and tools related to the Foundation’s contract management; /li liManaging and monitoring documentation (e.g., archiving, data entry in the internal database, deadline tracking, etc.); /li liContract due diligence: identifies legal and financial risks in existing contracts, verifies regulatory compliance and the correctness of contract clauses, evaluates opportunities or advantageous terms, and provides insights to negotiate better terms or make informed transaction decisions. /li /ul h3Legal Advisory /h3 ul liProviding legal support, assistance, and advice to the various research divisions and organizational units on all matters with legal implications or impact; /li liPreparing legal memos, reports, and responses to legal inquiries. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in law /li liMinimum of 2 years of work experience as in‑house counsel or gained in law firms, public entities, companies, or consulting firms, with strong expertise in drafting and negotiating contracts; /li liExperience in organizations operating in the scientific research sector is considered a preferential requirement; /li liStrong knowledge of civil law and administrative law; /li liExcellent command of the Italian language, both written and spoken; /li liVery good knowledge of the English language; /li liAccuracy and good analytical skills; /li liAbility to handle sensitive documents and information with discretion, strong ethical standards, and respect for privacy; /li liAttention to detail; /li liExcellent analytical and organizational skills; /li liAbility to work effectively in a team; /li liEfficiency in managing multiple tasks simultaneously, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize; /li liA passion for corporate law and for managing legal matters in complex and multidisciplinary environments, with a proactive mindset and eagerness to learn. /li /ul h3Duration, Compensation Benefits /h3 ul liPosition will be advertised both internally and externally; /li liThe Manager will be based in Lecce CMCC office; /li liContract and gross annual salary will be based on qualifications and working experience; /li liWelfare package for minimum 12 months contract; /li liFlexible working time as per internal policies; /li liSupport during the immigration process, if needed. /li /ul h3Protected Category /h3 pBelonging to legally protected categories (ex L. 68/99) will constitute a preferential condition.
