Avionics Test Engineer (Automated Test Systems) - settore Difesa
Openjobmetis SpA is looking for an expert in automated test systems for avionics to design, develop, integrate, and validate ATE systems and test software for avionics electronic/electromechanical units. Responsibilities include:
* Analyze requirements and define test strategy.
* Concurrent engineering with Design.
* Develop automation suites using National Instruments (LabVIEW, TestStand, NI DAQ, PXI, GPIB/VISA).
* Participate in designing test equipment and hardware for benches.
* Write validation and usage documentation.
* Support production ramp‑up and maintenance.
Requirements and Skills:
* Degree in Electronic/ Electrical/ Informatics Engineering (or equivalent) or technical diploma with significant experience in automated test systems for avionics/electronics.
* Hands‑on experience with electronic measurement instrumentation (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, VNA, signal generators, power supplies, multimeters).
* Excellent command of the National Instruments ecosystem and capability to develop test automation and instrument control.
* Experience with schematic and design tools (OrCAD, AutoCAD).
* Ability to read base bills of materials, electrical schematics, ICDs, and HW/SW interface documentation; familiarity with CSCI concepts for production test software.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, Adobe Acrobat.
* Strong technical documentation writing skills in Italian and English.
* Knowledge of standards and regulations: EN 9100, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, NATO AQAP‑2110, EMC 2014/30/UE, RoHS III, REACH.
* HSE compliance; awareness of ESD and proper PPE use.
* Excellent troubleshooting, debugging and problem‑solving skills; collaborative approach in concurrent engineering environments.
