Your responsibilities As Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for the commissioning of our Green Hydrogen modules and conducting on-site service for the balance of plant and our Chlor-Alkali business. Specifically, your activities will include: Ensuring safety throughout all commissioning processes; Managing the commissioning team and ensuring proper execution of commissioning planning; Managing & supervising pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up/ramp-up, and performance testing of various subsystems and the plant; Supporting the handover of subsystems and the plant between different stakeholders at the site; Working closely with stakeholders including the Project Manager, Site Manager, and Site Team to provide expert advice and leadership. Main Responsibilities and Contents Developing, managing, and delivering the commissioning execution strategy, schedule, and cost; Leading and directing all commissioning activities, including overseeing the commissioning team at the site; Implementing best practices for handover, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and preservation processes, considering contractual requirements, schedule, maintenance, change, and risk management; Establishing system boundaries, scopes of work, and handover procedures as per commissioning plans; Communicating roles and scope to engineering and construction team members; understanding test plans and protocols; coordinating reviews; Ensuring proper documentation and reporting of activities; Participating in meetings with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to resolve issues; Managing handover to service teams. Rights / Authorities Managing and implementing commissioning processes to meet schedules and contractual obligations; Instructing NCA commissioning team members; Making decisions on daily commissioning issues; Negotiating with clients on commissioning issues in coordination with project management; Mobilizing, demobilizing, and replacing team members as required; Resolving technical issues or disputes that impact project management, safety, or quality. Your profile The ideal candidate must satisfy the following requirements: Strong mechanical and chemical background; At least 10 years of experience as a Process or Commissioning Engineer with significant on-site experience in international chemical industry companies (electrolysis experience is a plus); Fluent in English (German and other European languages are a plus); Willingness to travel and stay long-term at plant sites in/outside Europe; Willing to relocate to Southeast Europe; High attention to HSE topics and procedures; Strong interpersonal skills, cultural awareness, flexibility, and collaboration skills; Strong problem-solving skills; Ability to manage stressful situations; Knowledge of IT tools such as MS Office and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Navisworks).
