Job Title: Territory Manager – Ahmedabad
Location: Based in Ahmedabad
Department: Sales / Key Account Manager (B2B)
Reporting To: Regional Manager – West India (B2B)
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical) or Business (MBA preferred)
- 5–10 years of experience in industrial equipment sales, preferably in the construction or RMC sector
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Tamil and English;
strong knowledge of local geography and customer base
- Willingness to travel extensively across Gujarat
Coverage & Targeted Customer Segments
- Corporate Customers & Large EPC Contractors
- RMC Segment: Corporate, Regional & Local RMCs (direct, franchisee, or rental-based)
- Corporate Infrastructure Projects: NHAI Roads & Bridges, Metro Railways, Power Projects, Cement Plants, Oil Refineries
Area of Coverage : Gujarat
Performance Metrics
- Achievement of sales targets (units and value) – 10% of TIV
- Repeat sales ratio from existing customers
- Territory coverage and customer engagement
- Timely resolution of service issues
- Growth in spare parts and service sales
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Drive sales of batching plants, concrete pumps, boom pumps, and transit mixers across Tamil Nadu
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through direct sales and channel partners
- Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term customers
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business
- Address customer concerns promptly and coordinate with service teams for resolution
Service Coordination
- Collaborate with service teams to ensure timely support and spare parts availability
- Track machine performance and proactively manage service issues
- Support demo activities and product validations with clear terms and accountability
Reporting & Documentation
- Submit weekly and monthly sales reports, visit summaries, and market intelligence
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, and order status
