You will communicate clearly to managers and employees to maintain a safe, healthy workplace and reduce environmental impact.ResponsibilitiesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of local/regional regulations and ensure compliance with Amazon EHS policiesGuide and oversee EHS compliance and regulatory requirements across sitesMentor and support other EHS team membersDeliver EHS training and coordinate programs addressing critical issuesAnalyze EHS metrics to identify trends and allocate resources to high-risk areasDevelop and implement EHS programs to strengthen corporate office culture on safetyConduct regular site visits to identify hazards and improve controlsImplement solutions to eliminate exposures and prevent injuriesSupport EHS Manager-EMEA in delivering strategic enhancementsCarry out EHS risk assessments and incident investigationsCoordinate with local authorities and H&S agenciesLead internal audit/assessment processes aligned to global/regional objectivesPrepare responses to insurers/lawyers regarding personal injury claimsEnsure site leadership and associates are trained on EHS responsibilitiesFacilitate worker consultation and participation; contribute to EHS committee activitiesSupport environmental sustainability efforts in corporate office activitiesAssist xjrgpwk EHS Manager-EMEA with budgeting for EHS scopeQualificationsBachelor's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety or a related fieldRSPP certification and skills per article 32 of Legislative Decree 81/08Previous experience in RSPP rolesProficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication and native ItalianIn-depth knowledge of local, state and federal EHS regulations and standardsExperience in incident investigation and root cause analysisAvailability to travel regularly within EMEA as required
