Logistics Manager – Luxury Fragrance House

Our client, a prestigious luxury fragrance brand with an international footprint, is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join their Milan headquarters. This is a critical and urgent hire, responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of global shipments and supporting both retail and e-commerce operations.
The ideal candidate brings hands‑on logistics expertise within beauty, fragrance, or related sectors, with mandatory experience handling dangerous goods (ADR/DC).
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate daily shipments across global markets
* Prepare, print, and manage all shipping documentation (delivery notes, DDT, packing lists, waybills)
* Enter and process customer orders within the management system
* Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers
* Maintain and archive export/import documentation
* Monitor warehouse inventory
* Track shipment progress and resolve logistical issues proactively
* Liaise with airlines, couriers, and road transport partners to ensure timely pick‑up and delivery
* Ensure compliance with all ADR/DC requirements
Candidate Profile
* Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in logistics and shipping, ideally within fragrance, beauty, or FMCG
* Strong organisational skills, accuracy, and ability to operate under pressure
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
* Fluent English (B2 level or above)
* Familiarity with e‑commerce platforms (Shopify, Wix, BigCommerce) is an advantage
* Flexible, analytical, and proactive mindsetImmediate availability preferred
