Our client is a medium-sized subsidiary based in Rho, Italy, of a large multinational group headquartered in Switzerland. The company operates in the industrial automation and material handling sector, providing innovative solutions for logistics, production, and supply chain management. Responsibilities
* Supervise Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger Accounting
* Oversee customer billing in collaboration with the internal sales team
* Manage monthly IAS closures and annual financial statements for group consolidation
* Conduct quarterly forecasting, budgeting, and monthly intercompany reconciliations
* Ensure compliance with VAT and fiscal regulations in Italy and Switzerland
* Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual tax obligations with external consultants
* Support the Transfer Pricing consultant in preparing documentation
* Liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance
* Supervise payroll processing with support from an external provider
* Act as the Local HR Operations Manager, ensuring compliance with labor laws
* Serve as the Local Privacy Coordinator for data protection compliance
* Lead and develop a small team of three finance professionals
* Drive internal process improvements and ensure ESG reporting compliance
Your Profile
* 10+ years of experience in a similar role within a small to medium-sized company, preferably part of a big group
* Strong knowledge of Italian GAAP, IFRS, and IAS regulations
* Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and intercompany reconciliations
* Knowledge of Italian labor law and Payroll Management
* Familiarity with local and international taxation frameworks, including VAT
* Proficiency in Excel and SAP S/4HANA; knowledge of other accounting and reporting tools is an advantage
* Proven team management skills with the ability to lead and develop a small team
* Empathetic and diplomatic approach, capable of building consensus and driving ideas forward smoothly
* Business fluency in English; good knowledge of German or French is an advantage
