System Validation Engineer - AUTOMOTIVE

Responsibilities
Define and develop testing and validation strategies for embedded systems in the automotive sector, with a focus on Battery Management Systems (BMS).
Analyze system requirements and verify technical documentation.
Perform tests on HIL, SIL benches, and vehicles to ensure compliance with system requirements, especially regarding battery energy management and optimization.
Identify and manage non-conformities, supporting software and hardware development teams in resolving anomalies.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve system performance, particularly in optimizing charging strategies and BMS protection.
Requirements
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, or related fields.
Experience in testing and validation of embedded systems, preferably in BMS or electric powertrain.
Familiarity with ISO 26262, ISO 21434, and functional safety standards for high-voltage systems.
Knowledge of testing tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, dSPACE, MATLAB/Simulink, with experience in CAN networks and ECU communication.
Good command of the English language.
