Job Summary Warranty Product Support – Compression Technologies & Services is responsible for supporting aftermarket parts identification and warranty claim validation. The parts identification support promotes the aftermarket parts business and prevents field issues due to errors, minimizing customer downtime. The warranty aspect involves system and claims administration, with a focus on process improvement and compliance. Responsibilities Provide timely support for compressor products. Develop and deliver distributor training remotely and face-to-face (occasional travel required). Maintain ticket & claims system for all issues within SLAs, using problem-solving to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate effectively with colleagues, Warranty, Technical Support, Engineering, Quality, and Sales. Resolve application and conversion issues, support parts installation, and review engineering documentation for upgrades. Use warranty database to develop reports supporting corrective actions and engage with global stakeholders for process consistency. Make technical assessments on warranty claims to determine defect liability. Coordinate with project management on systems, change requests, testing, and database maintenance. Basic Qualifications Preferred: a four-year technical degree (mechanical/electrical) or applicable trade qualification with relevant experience. Travel & Work Arrangements Flexible work between site, home, and up to 15% travel across Europe. Fluency in English and at least one additional European language (French, German, Spanish, Italian, etc.). Understanding of Ingersoll Rand products or industrial machinery at the component level. Knowledge of technical drawings, engineering documentation, BOMs, manuals, and factory processes. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems (Oracle or SAP is a plus). Proactive approach, technical aptitude, and clear communication skills are essential. Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence to connect with diverse individuals.
