Ph3Job Description /h3 pThe Supplier Quality Engineer is a manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics specialist who plays a central role in assessing supplier quality and ensuring that products received are free of defects. Supplier quality engineers communicate between senior management and suppliers to address and resolve quality issues, providing technical input and guidance on process enhancements and improvements. They spend a significant amount of time visiting supplier facilities to assess practices and procedures, identify areas for improvement, and conduct rigorous tests of received supplies to identify potential failures or recurring manufacturing defects. /p h3Job Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in engineering field and 3-4 years of equivalent experience /li liDemonstrable knowledge of manufacturing process and production equipment /li liStrong verbal and written communication skills and ability to write technical documents /li liKnowledge of quality system methodologies /li liAbility to interpret engineering drawings /li liStrong knowledge of PPAP, MSA, FMEA, SPC and 8D Methods /li liAdvanced computer skills with Microsoft Office, Minitab, SPSS /li liFluent in Italian and English in written and spoken /li liBe able to travel domestically and internationally for supplier visits, sometimes with short notice /li /ul h3Key Personal Traits /h3 ul liAbility to work in a fast‑paced environment and multitask /li liWorks well in a multi‑cultural team environment /li liGood soft skills (communication, negotiation influencing), networker /li /ul h3Additional Premio /h3 ul liAutomotive manufacturing experience, working directly for an Automotive OEM or Automotive Supplier /li liGlobal experience with multinational suppliers /li liISO 9001 and IATF 16949 Auditor Certification /li liAudit experience; internal and/or external Auditor /li liExperience or certification in VDA 6.3 audit is an asset /li liExperience leveraging Design and Process FMEA outputs to develop robust systems /li liExperience with development of pressure test equipment /li liExperience with coating and plating of metal and inspection methods /li liExperience with cleanliness process (VDA 19 is preferred) /li liWorking experience in Metrology lab: Inspection Method and Equipment /li /ul h3Job Responsibilities /h3 ul liEnsure that the required delivery quality is achieved by our supply chain. /li liContinuously improve effective nonconformance management of supplier‑caused nonconformances. /li liControl implementation of prevention‑oriented SQM methods and risk management in supplier‑related processes, projects and products (8D, RCA, APQP, FMEA). /li liQualify and develop suppliers, ensuring continuous improvement of supplier quality and deliveries. /li liSupport supplier selection with high performance expectations to minimize follow‑up costs and effort. /li liAct in cross‑functional cooperation with Procurement, Logistics, Engineering and Manufacturing. /li liFamiliarize with international/national standards (ISO 9001, VDA 6.3, ISO 14001, ISO 45001), technical documentation of materials in scope, quality assurance and purchasing agreements, test and inspection methods. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
